Volunteers live in their own shared space. There are usually between 6 to 12 people, rarely less or more.
While you get to know many people this way, communal living also requires everyone to participate (socially, cleaning, etc.)
Volunteers have a dedicated corridor for themselves, where they share a kitchen, with all the cooking tools needed, and living room space. There is storage space for everyone's private food.
Rooms are shared (2-3 people), with shared showers & toilets. Bed sheets and a towel are provided.
Soap and shampoo are provided, but don't forget to take your other personal hygienic products with you.
Hub Feenix is a 100% vegetarian area, so no other food is allowed in the house.
Basic food is included in the Vounteer deal, such as rice, pasta, seasonal veggies, beans, lentils, bread, tofu, spices, porridge flakes, oat milk, tea & coffee.
The Hub provides ingredients and space, sometimes ready food from events.
Shared meals are very common, if not daily. And the volunteers are responsible for the cooking and the cleaning of the kitchen on their own time.
Washing machine, laundry powder, iron and clothes drying racks are available.
